SUNDAY WITH TRAVELKITDS IN WYNWOOD

SUNDAY WITH TRAVELKITDS IN WYNWOOD

If you travel to Miami, you must go to Wynwood!

Located between Downtown and Design District, Wynwood is one of the most attractive neighborhoods of Miami. You will find there a lot of stores, galleries, restaurants… Wynwood streets are also known for their colorful murals.

How a day in Wynwood with your kids can look like?

  • 10am: Breakfast at Zak the Baker

Zak is one of the most famous bakeries in town. You can eat delicious bread, pastries, sandwiches…

  • 11am: Visit of Wynwood Walls.

Open from 11am to 8pm (because of covid you need to purchase your ticket. You can do it online https://museum.thewynwoodwalls.com/products/13)
Wynwood Walls is an outdoor museum of street art. The kids love it because they can run from wall to wall and discover many colorful paintings!

  • 12pm: Walk around the streets.

  • 1pm: Lunch at 1800 Lucky

There is a lot of places for lunch, but my favorite is 1800 lucky! If you like Asian food, this food hall is for you! Sushis, ramens, dumplings, pokes… you can find a large selection for the whole family.

We love to go there with the kids, they eat good food, and we have enough place for the stroller(s)!

  • 2pm: Walk again around the streets!

Enter in galleries, decoration stores…. And enjoy the street art vibe from everywhere! You will find a lot of concept stores like Frangipani (one of my favourite) with a nice selection of products.

And if you are looking for sunglasses Warby parker is the best!

  • 4pm: Snack at The Salty Donut.

With no doubt, one of the best donuts of Florida!

After this full day with your kids, you can go back to your hotel, relax at the pool, find a babysitter, and go back there for the evening! Wynwood nightlife is also a must-do!

There are plenty of bars and trendy restaurants and a lot of entertainment is waiting for you!
